Larry "Duke" Grant was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia. Duke graduated from Brookville High School in 1997. He spent the next four years in the United States Navy working as an Aviation Electronics Technician aboard the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt. After being honorably discharged in 2002, Duke returned to Lynchburg and completed his Associates degree in Business Administration. Upon completion of community college, he transferred to Virginia Tech and graduated in the spring of 2006. With a Bachelor's degree in marketing, Duke returned to Lynchburg to work with his father, broker and owner of Central Virginia Realty. As a disciplined salesman, Duke believes that the keys to a successful real estate transaction are a mutual trust, effective communication, and win-win negotiations. His personal mission in the real estate business is: "To earn respect and trust in people, while creating lasting relationships, during which I will service their real estate needs through effective communication, efficient work practices, and innovative marketing strategies in an endless pursuit of quality."
